Eulo is located on South West Queensland of Australia, also a locality on Shire of Parro. Eulo is also known by “Mountville of the Outback“. It is 64 kilometers west of Cunnamulla and 887 kilometeres – west of Brisbane. It’s surrounding area had a population of 108.
Eulo is located besides east of Paroo River that flows n a roughly north-south direction. Eulo is not only for the infamous “Eulo Queen” and the hotel named after her but also for the abundant local produce and product as well as opal and craft which can all be purchased in the town. Honey along with other natural products made from bees wax are produced at Eulo for the local and national market.
Bullo Development Road ( known as Adventure Way) is connects Eulo to Cunnamulla on east and connects Thargomindah on west.
Attractions at Eulo supports the local community by making it easy to discover fun community events and activities. Artesian water opened up the Outback and the unique town of Eulo due to its position on the banks of the pristine Paroo River. A memorable time can be had swimming, fishing, yabbying and camping under the stars on the river banks.
Eulo hosts the World Lizard Racing Championships on their Paroo Track.
If you are planning to visit Eulo and would like to have a peaceful campaing, heads on west across river and then after 900 meters turn left. This track will take you to the absolute peace of Billabong. Billanbong offers many campainfg sopts on the river edge.
